How long should KODI gel polish be cured in a LED lamp?

I always recommend applying KODI gel polish in two thin layers, curing each one in a UV/LED lamp for 30 to 90 seconds. Less pigmented colors usually cure in just 30 seconds — not necessarily translucent, but with lower pigment saturation that allows UV light to penetrate easily.

However, the market demands fast, pigmented products. Highly pigmented shades block UV rays more, so they require longer curing times.

When working with highly pigmented colors:

  • Apply very thin layers and cure each for at least 60–90 seconds.

  • Follow manufacturer recommendations for each specific shade.

  • Regularly replace UV bulbs if you're using a UV lamp.

  • Keep in mind: LED lamps also need replacing every 5–6 months with frequent use.
